I travel to your chosen location and dress you there, so you do not need to visit my studio before your event. The appointment can take place at your home, hotel, photography studio or directly at the venue.
On-site kimono dressing is available in Düsseldorf and Neuss at no additional travel cost. Appointments in other locations are available by arrangement, with an additional travel fee.
Kimono Dressing at Your Location
Preparing for an important occasion often involves several appointments. Travelling somewhere else to be dressed—and then continuing to your event in kimono—can make the day unnecessarily complicated.
With my on-site dressing service, I come to you and help you get ready at the location that is most convenient for you.
This service is suitable for:

Where Can the Dressing Take Place?
The appointment can take place wherever you are preparing for your occasion, for example:
- at your home;
- at a hotel;
- at a wedding or event venue;
- in a photography studio;
- backstage at a performance or cultural event;
- in another suitable private room.
The room should provide sufficient space for dressing, good lighting and a clean area where the kimono and accessories can be laid out.
If the appointment is in a hotel or event venue, please confirm beforehand that a suitable room will be available.
Travel and Early-Morning Fees
There is no additional travel fee for appointments within Düsseldorf or Neuss.
For appointments outside Düsseldorf and Neuss, travel costs are calculated separately according to the location.
An additional early-morning fee applies to appointments scheduled between 7:00 and 9:00 a.m.
All additional costs will be confirmed with you before the booking is finalised.

When making your enquiry, please let me know the date of your occasion, the time by which you need to be fully dressed, the dressing address, the type of event, which kimono you intend to wear, how many people require dressing, and whether you also have appointments for hair or makeup.

Confirmation and planning
Based on this information, I will confirm my availability, the estimated dressing time, and any applicable travel or early-morning fees.

On the day of your appointment
On the day, I will arrive at the agreed time and dress you at your chosen location. Please have all kimono items ready and allow sufficient time before you need to leave or before your event begins.

If you are wearing kimono for the first time, I will also explain a few simple ways to walk, sit and move comfortably. I will show you what to look out for and what you can do if something shifts slightly during the day.
