Kimono dressing is not simply a matter of fastening one garment after another. The collar, hem, obi and the volume of the fabric must be read together. Small adjustments can change the balance of the entire silhouette.
I consider the wearer first: their proportions, the nature of the occasion and how they want to feel. The result should look composed without feeling removed from the person wearing it.

The Biyori rental collection is made up of selected kimono rather than an unlimited catalogue. Each piece is considered for its condition, material, proportions and the way it can be coordinated today.
After learning about your occasion and measurements, I suggest suitable options and build the ensemble with obi and accessories.

Professional dressing
Please allow enough time for the layers to be arranged carefully. Dressing usually takes between 45 and 90 minutes, depending on the kimono.

Wear it as your own
Before you leave, I explain how to move, sit and make small adjustments so that the kimono feels less unfamiliar throughout the day.
