A captivating deep-green hōmongi featuring a dreamlike Tsujigahana landscape by Yoshino Ittoku. Silver threads shimmer across the fabric, while layered shades of turquoise, violet, blue and gold create an almost otherworldly scene.
Story of This Kimono
This exceptional awase hōmongi draws the viewer into a mysterious landscape filled with distant mountains, drifting clouds and richly detailed flowers.
Created by Yoshino Ittoku, the design is inspired by the elusive beauty of Maboroshi no Tsujigahana—“phantom Tsujigahana.” Intricate floral forms and flowing colour gradations merge into an imaginative landscape that appears to shift between reality and a dream.
Fine silver threads woven throughout the deep-green fabric catch the light and reveal subtle patterns across the surface. Towards the hem, the colours deepen into vivid blue and black, giving the composition a remarkable sense of depth.
An artistic statement piece for weddings, formal celebrations, cultural events, receptions and distinctive photoshoots.
